B I O G R A P H Y


Carly Wilding is a multidisciplinary artist based in St Kilda. After completing her Bachelor of Arts, Acting (2016), Carly has worked professionally in theatre, music, and in commercials and voice over for 10 years.
Recently, Carly has appeared in online comedy series for Bank First, The Think Tank (2026), playing all 11 characters. Her recent commercial work spans from modelling to acting and voice acting for AAMI, Coca Cola, VicRoads, and the Victorian Government.
In her home studio, (Wilding V/O), Carly produces music and voice over for radio and TV commercials, and has recently finished producing a range of commercials for the Victorian Government Department of Health including composing the accompanying music.
Also a musician, singer & songwriter, Carly performs regularly in folk duo Morrigan & Wilding, in which she is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist, accompanying original songs with Celtic harp, guitar, vocals and live-looping alongside bandmate Kylie Morrigan. Their debut album, These Women came out in January 2024. Carly is a trained improvisor, and has accompanied improvised shows like Soothplayers and Les Improvise on a variety of instruments over the years.
Carly's recent theatre credits include Judge/understudy - The Jury Experience (Fever Labs), The Good Girl in Voyage - A New Australian Folk Musical (Greenroom Nominated), Bumbles in Bumbles & Moz (self-written), Olivia in Twelfth Night, Head Chief Rabbit/Musical Director in Wind in the Willows, Duchess in Alice in Wonderland (Australian Shakespeare Company), Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Miranda in The Tempest (Melbourne Shakespeare Company.)
Outside of her work as an actor, Carly travels Australia in a camper van (Beatrice), which she kitted out herself. Her professional skillset has involved directing, feature film Love's Bitter Mystery), MD/AD on A Midsummer Night's Dream for Sevenfold Theatre Company, set design (Her, Voyage - fortyfivedownstairs), and costume (La Brea, NBC.) Carly is also a skilled visual artist, having painted commissions since she was 13, and recently painting the cover art of her album, These Women.
