DEBUT ALBUM
LISTEN NOW!
(c) Morrigan & Wilding, 2024
Naarm (Melbourne) based duo, Morrigan & Wilding present their debut enchantment, These Women. With harp, violin, guitars, and ethereal vocal harmonies, Kylie Morrigan & Carly Wilding conjure a unique fusion of folk, Celtic, and gothic influences through thirteen all-original songs.
Drawing inspiration from the strength of women in history and personal narratives, and set against the backdrop of nature's wonders – forests, oceans, deserts, and the sanctuary of home – These Women is at once evocative, spellbinding, and playfully human.

Carly Wilding and Kylie Morrigan are a folk-fusion duo based in bayside Naarm (Melbourne). They bring together Carly’s extensive theatre and music background and Kylie’s classical and contemporary musical background and merge into a slightly mystical, slightly Celtic, slightly gothic and unique blending of voice and multi-instrumentation with all original songs. With harp, violin, guitar, voice and live-looping, Morrigan & Wilding transport you with their experiential and story-oriented music.
“…lilting folk-like subtlety and stunning harmonies that blend effortlessly."
- Heather Bloom, Australian Stage
After writing and performing in theatre show Bumbles & Moz in 2021, Carly and Kylie decided to continue the play's story of two musicians and aspiring musical goddesses who form an almighty musical duo, and become a band for real!
Always working to extend their shared repertoire and creative partnership, Morrigan & Wilding have also collaborated on feature films and other theatrical pieces together, as well as extending the range of their original music with live looping and storytelling. In January, 2024, they released their debut thirteen track album, These Women.
Alongside their work together in Morrigan & Wilding, Carly & Kylie perform in 3x GreenRoom Award Nominated folk musical Voyage. They also improvise live scores for Soothplayers: Completely Improvised Shakespeare in the comedy and fringe festival circuits, and collaborated on feature film Love's Bitter Mystery - directed by Carly and scored by Kylie.
